General Elections are held the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November. Polling Places open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. There are 6 Magisterial Districts with 29 Polling Places in Frederick County.

All of Frederick County is now in Congressional District 6 and in State Senate District 1. Precincts 0104, 0105, 0401, 0402, 0403, 0404, 0501, 0502, 0503, 0504, 0505, and 0605 are House of Delegates District 031. Precincts 0101, 0102, 0103, 0201, 0202, 0203, 0204, 0205, 0301, 0302, 0303, 0304, 0305, 0601, 0602, 0603, and 0604 are in House of Delegates District 032.
