Registration must be completed online or in-person prior to attending.

Then don’t hesitate to register today for basicREC, FCPRD’s before and after school program. It’s simply the BEST!

The basicREC program is available to all Frederick County Elementary School aged children. Our goal is to provide participants with many recreational opportunities before and after school! Children will engage in active games and have the opportunity to participate in art projects, crafts, sports, along with many other activities. Weather permitting, most activities will take place outside. Once all planned recreational activities have taken place, children may have the opportunity to do homework.

Hours of Operation - Monday - Friday

• Morning Session:  6:30 am - Start of School Day
• Afternoon Session:  School Dismissal - 6:00 pm

Fees:

• Full-Time basicREC 
  • Day: $100 per week
    • The full-time AM/PM price includes all additional camps including no school day camps and snow day camps. Participants must call to register for these camp dates.
  • Mornings Only: $51 per week
  • Afternoons Only: $55 per week
    • Full-time AM or PM basicREC requires a $16 fee per drop in for no school day camps and snow day camps. Participants must call to register for theses camps dates.

• Daily Option basicREC - Don’t need basicREC every day? Register only for the times you need - with no minimum number of days required! 
  • Morning Only (AM): $16 per day - Participants must be registered by 6a.m. the day of attendance
  • Afternoon Only (PM): $18 per day - Participants must be registered by 3p.m. the day of attendance
  • If you are in need of both AM and PM, YOU MUST REGISTER FOR EACH SEPARATELY.

No School Day CAMPS & Spring Break CAMPS: To participate in Daily basicREC option on No School Day, or Spring Break Camps you MUST have participated in a Daily option for the 2023-2024 school year in order to register.
