Annual Business license renewal applications are DUE by March 1 each year (or first business day thereafter).  Annual business tangible personal property returns for business equipment and furnishings, etc. are also DUE by March 1 (or first business day thereafter).  Business license renewal payments are due annually DUE by April 1 (or first business day thereafter). 

As you know, in our continuing effort to save citizens and the County time and money, the business license renewal application and accompanying forms are not being automatically mailed to businesses again this year. Rather, businesses are asked to renew their business license online.  The online renewal program will be available beginning in early January at www.fcva.us/biztax.  We are thrilled to report that our encouragement to renew online has yielded close to 80% who filed online by the March 1 due date for the past several years.  Thank you business licensees for your tremendous response!

Your actual business license will be sent to you by email if provided; otherwise, it will be mailed. 

It is important that you continue to provide us with any changes to your mailing address, email address, contact information, business location, business closing etc. (either online or by email).
