2,000 Attend Inaugural Wings N Wheels Event
The inaugural Winchester Wings & Wheels took off Saturday with much success as more than 2,000 people ventured to the Winchester Regional Airport to get a close look at aircraft and high-end cars. The car show featured classic cars, muscle cars and exotics, while aircraft ranged from the Cessna 172 to the Lockeed Model 10 Electra — the same model of plane flown by Amelia Earhart. Visitors were able to see the aircraft up close, and often the owners would allow guests to step inside the vehicles and aircraft.
